My Story

I am always up for an adventure!  As a small child, I was fascinated by the far away countries and cultures that I experienced through books.  I started traveling when I was 12 and have journeyed to some pretty remarkable places.  Through my travels I learned that people all over the world dance when they're happy, find beauty in nature and art, and (most of all) love a good story. 

Now that I am a mom, I delight in watching my toddler discover the world around her.  We spend hours outside examining rocks, bugs, and flowers.  We make time everyday to dance to her new favorite song.  She amazes me by pointing out details of artwork that I missed.  Above all, we visit exciting new places, people, and possibilities through reading.
